I`m planning on installing a subwoofer and amplifier in the trunk area of my 98 Acura 2.5 TL . The only problem is, how to install it neat and clean.

How do I get the main wires of the amp to pass through my trunk area and then through the front area. I know the brake and rear speaker wires go through a opening on the left side of the trunks siding, but i still dont see a way to get any new wires through this opening . Does the back seat has to be removed? If so, does anyone know the steps for removal?

how? easy, remote wire and rca wires run through the sides and through your trunk and hide them under the carpet

^ He meant to remove them from the car. Anyhow, you can tuck them under the rear seat frame and under the carpet from there to the deck. Our interiors are pretty easy to take apart, and the entire rear bench comes out with 5 bolts.

Got it. I wonder if the rear bench, is the same as the 3.5? I found a thread with the steps for removing a 3.5 Tl, but for a 06`.

Im not certain of the bolts for the 2.5, I see grey bolts, 6 in all. Probably not the one to remove.

The backseat comes up just enough to run wires on it just tug it upwards and itll come right up.
