Starter Trouble

I am having A LOT of trouble out of my starter. When I turn the key It doesn't even try and turn the engine on at all. Do I need to get a new starter or what? Anyone that can help please do so.

Thank you,
Derek

When you try turning it on, do you hear a big "click" and it does nothing else? You basically do that like 5 or 6 times and then it starts?

If so, you need a new starter or at least, new starter contacts. Ours are bad They are unfortunately expensive too.

Depends. Some shops can rebuild it/fix it. Acura dealerships probably charge a few hundred.

I have one that I'd sell you for a good price. I can also get it rebuilt in less than a week for 110.

i had the same problem when i first got my TL. It cost me $250 for the starter. Fortunately, I had a buddy that was able to install it for me otherwise it would have cost me another $200.

I'll sell you mine for $50. I can also get it rebuilt for another $110 by the guy that rebuilt mine. I'll cost you around 110-120 to get it installed, fyi.
