Finally got my Azect Grill and Inspired Motorsports Eyelids back painted from my bodyshop... Pics do all the telling...
One note though, i had to change some stuff aroudn the hood latch area to let the grill fit...

nahh i didnt get them back until after work which was around 2:30ish..

well i knew the people at the bodyshop i went to... moms friends husband or something like that...
so i just dropped off the eyelids and grill and just got charged for the paint only, no labor, no nothing... but they didnt prep the eyelids, so upon close inspection, the left eyelid looks a little bit different...
not that i really care... cuz im probably gonna get the car repainted once i purchase the rest of the kit..

all parts need a little wet sanding to remove the excess materials which are basically fine lines from the casted mold.. just needed some a little softening up...

as for the hookup at the bodyshop, damn good price.... no complaints here about how much you paid nor the work done...

Also that grill and eyelid combo looks so freaking clean!! Why does it look better on your car than on mine? I want a light color car now.. Did you do the mesh in the grill yourself? Can i see the top view of how the eyelids is held on?

its the azect grill... well for me i had to relocate something for the hood thing... i had no idea what it did...
ill take some pictures of the top of the eyelids, but they are held on by double sided tape... thats pretty much it.
The mesh was there when i bought the grill off of ebay... so ionno... is it not supposed to be there or something?

very nice!! and i agree with TLBaller, for some reason the grill looks better on a light color than on a dark one. when i had the grill it just didn't look right on my TL.

yeah it's supposed to be there.... when i orginally bought it from valueTL's site it was already there when i bought it.

the grill turned out pretty nice... you can't even tell the grill been damaged

I hope I don't seem like an ass by saying this (since it seems that I'm the only one...) but I really don't like the look.

The grill looks nice, but those eyelids do not go well with the bumper or the headlights (which are nice, BTW).

that grill looks sweet.. I was considering tlxracer's grill, but I'm not sure how it'd look on a black car.. it looks good on tlxracer's white car though, I like it a lot.. I'm not too big on the eyelids either, but he does some nice work.

yea well i had the same convo with my friend... i kind of wish i didnt black out my housings cuz i think the eyelids would've looked a lot better on stock headlights...

I was the one you were having a bidding war with on that Grille, lol. I really like how the grille looks. I have never been a fan of Eyelids, but thats just me. I really like the blacked out headlights though.

cuz I think it looks good. i could care less what other people think about it, but i personally thought it would look good so thats why i did it. As many people would say, each man to his own(or somethign along those lines)

I wonder how many first gens will show...If I remember correctly there was only one first gen at the last fudds meet and that was mizouse.

I also think the eyelids would look better on stock headlights.

If you do plan to keep your headlights that way, you should smoke out the side markers. Would look pretty badass
