Rust

When washing my car the other day I noticed a few little bubbles on my car just above my right rear tire....it doesn't look bad but from prior experiences with my old accord I know these bubbles are going to break and cause rusting...I know this was a common problem on hondas but I never thought it would be the same on our Acuras....I have a 97 3.2 so I am pissed about this new problem....anyone have ideas on how to prevent this from rusting?

I also have small scratches on the bottom rear bumper cause some jackazz doesn't know how to park and he hit my car a few days ago....I'm gonna try a Zaino project this weekend and touch up the paint (if it ever stops raining out here!)

Thanks!

Derrick

I mean little bubbles on the paint on the rear panel just above the wheel. I'm pretty sure it's the same problem that the old hondas have. I just hope there is a way to fix it before it rusts.

Thanks

He's talking about when the metal starts rusting underneath the paint, bubling the paint up. Look at any car that is rusting, and you'll see it. Eventually, the bubbles crack, an pieces of rusty metal chip off.

The only way to fix that is the have the panel painted. I would go to a GOOD body shop and have them take a look at it. The longer you wait the worse it'll get and the harder it'll be to fix correctly. Rust is like cancer for cars and boats.
