Question Rookie Houre

1996 3.2L TL.
Alright, the first step is admitting I need help with this one :P My cars past the 200 thousand K mark, yes (KM) and Im assusing the timing belt was done at 100, thousand as its been in the family since about 150 thousand, and it would of snapped by now if it wasn't done then right ? :P so should I be looking at changing it again soon ?

Well you're supposed to change it at 105k mi not km, so that would be ~165-170k km. This means that it most likely wasn't done. I changed mine at ~190k km. The timing belt on my uncle's Audi snapped exactly when it was due for a change. So your timing belt might still be fine for thousands of kms or it could snap the next time you go for a drive - at this point it's a gamble.
With accessory belts, water pump and so on you're looking at $600-800. It's up to you to decide whether to change it or drive it until it dies. If your car is in good condition then it's most definitely a good idea to change it soon.

I agree, Im at over 300k Miles and the belt on mine has been done three times, twice by previous owners (have paperwork) and once by me when I first got it. Timing belts are one of those things that can go right when they are supposed to be changed or they can last longer, but if you have the ability to get it done, do it.

Better safe than sorry, though, especially with an interference engine.
