problems installing hid

well my friend was helping me install my hid kit
and we got it in fine and everything, wiring was correct
but the hid's would only work on high beams
on low beams it just didn't work at all

has anyone else had problems with this?
anyone know how to fix it?

Uh, wouldn't that mean the wiring WASN'T correct?

Is this a high/low kit where it's a halogen high and HID low, a HID low and no high, or an HID low with a solenoid to move the bulb back for high? Need more details.

~Cheers~

they're bi-xenon's.
to tell you the truth, i dunno; but i'm pretty positive they're hid low but no high

the wiring SHOULD be correct, we double checked everything.
actually i think i just found out what the problem was.
do we need to install a relay for the hid's to work?

No, no relays are needed. You might have to switch the positives on the connector to get it to work right. IIRC, H4H bulbs had them switched and you might've gotten a kit for those.
