Nooo. Don't pull really hard. You'll break it. What you have to do is stick a screwdriver or somethin into the two round holes. They go into some plastic fasteners that you have to "unclip." It's hard to explain; I just experimented with it until I unclipped them. Maybe someone has some pix or more detailed instructions on how to do it.

oh thanks, i got the clips off, broke 1 though, top two, u push towards the outside, and bottom 2 plastics, you just push down. i'm just deciding now how to glue or fasten the mesh on. my mesh is pretty tough, i'm not sure if the chrome trim can hold it down.

Did you buy like the thick mesh that they sell online? I bought that as well, but it was too thick and heavy-duty for the chrome trim to hold down. I went to the hardware store and bought the gutter gaurd for like $5. The chrome trim held it down beautifully, and it looked pretty good too.
If you want, I think someone on this board has a group buy going for an aftermarket grille for like $200. It's pretty sweet, but I don't have the extra cash.

TLBaller, would u be able to pm me the link? and i do have the thick one, i'm trying to cut it and somehow apply it on now, if I can't hold it down, i will have to get fasteners or another softer mesh.

i didn't install a mesh on my car. i bought an aftermarket grill and installed that. i am the one whose trying to get a group buy on the aftermarket grill. since nobody is interested, i was planning on canceling it.

i dont think it will let me provide the link on pm either. however, if you email me, i can give you the link with the pic. gooknamese@hotmail.com remember, the instructions is just showing you how to take off the grill, not on how to install a mesh.

hey i just forced it in... here's the result, i didn't spend much time and therefore didn't do a good job. i'll keep this hard grill on for now, and maybe look into the softer ones at home depot later on.

Wow. Looks good man. From the angles shown, it looks pretty clean. I like how it "bulges" out a little.
