PCV Valve?
Does anyone know if our 3.2L engines have a PCV valve. I'm guessing it's an emission equipment so we must have it. So where is it?? I'm planning to run a half a can of SeaFoam down to clean out the engine.

O.K. i got a new pcv valve for like 3 bucks, but it didnt fix the noise. When i turn off the engine, there is like a 3 second sound of fizzing, Like air/water is exiting the valve.

in my opinion (and im only like a grade C mechanic), It doesnt sound right if air or water or air/water is exiting the engine . I heard from some dude who was standing in line next to me at the Acura dealer, that his PCV valve on his Acura Legend was making that fizzing noise, and it cause the idle to go erratic. So yes it should be fixed.
Somone with experience please help us out.
If i changed the PCV valve and it didnt fix the problem, do i have to put some kind of sealant around the bottom of the valve or how do i fix the problem??
Somone with experience please help us out.

After some years, your hoses and gaskets will become brittle. So its possible they leak.

I pulled my PCV valve off this weekend and the vacuum was very strong. No wonder you have a leak. After-market parts vary slightly in dimension from original equipment. If you are positive you got the right PCV valve and compared it to the original, the rubber gasket the valve fits into is bad. I would advise you remove the valve cover to replace the PCV valve gasket. Don't want to risk getting brittle rubber flakes into your valve assembly. Only other possible solution I can think of is the blue RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) silicone I mentioned. Even if it does work, I would hesitate to ever remove PCV valve after the silicone has cured. Again, due to possible fragments into the valve assembly. Sealing the leak with something like super-glue is not a good idea. Hopefully, for obvious reasons.
