over head light left on, battery kill?

i left the over head light on (the one directly on top, next to the sun roof) when I parked my car. when i returned to notice this i thought my battery would be dead but the car started fine as usuall. does that have an effect on the battery like when you leave the head lights on or is that light a different case?
thanks

It uses FAR less power than the headlights

So yes it drains the battery but much slower.

Only if you have trouble starting the car

Otherwise just run the engine and dont turn on power hungry things like the rear defroster, heated mirrors/seats etc.

Yup, no worries man, the light is so small and draws such little power that it should not be a problem. You didn't have a problem, so you are all set.
