ok, i got new front tires put on my 2.5tl about a month ago. there was also an alignment done i believe

ever since, ive been noticing a thumping, vibration, type sound and i can sort of feel it too. it doesnt seem to effect the handling or performance of the car at all though. it feels like its comeing from the back, but im not sure it could be the front right too (but it feels more like the back tires rolling), and it is especially pronounced when i make a turn. its like a thumping sound

...bad alignment? tire pressure? balance? bad tire? not really sure what it is, but it is annoying the hell out of me..

 

Make sure all of your lugnuts are tightened and/or still there.

 

It could very well be your ball joints... I had a similar problem a while back and this was the cause. It was an Acura re-call, but I'm not sure if it still stands. You should check with your dealer regarding this..

problem was 2 out-of-round rear tires. just got it fixed, all is good

 

Funny enough, I've never had this problem before, but I've had it TWICE on my TL, once with the 18's, and once last winter with the snows.... Same thing, shifted belt, thought it was a bad hub or bearing, (actuallky those went too, had the rears done a month ago for free since it was a recall!!
