can you guys fill me in on all this cornering bulb, parking lights, headlights thing. i mean you all talk about these different types of lights to install but i am just not too familiar with it all. all i can figure is that u guys just go get replacement bulbs to add a cooler look. so how many actual bulbs as far as lighting goes are there excluding the tail lights and what are the best bulbs to install and are the as good as our factory ones? please help out because it sounds like something i would be interesed in doing! thanks!

 

I would just put orange bulbs in the corner and put some superwhite for headlights.

 

it would look a lot better if all your bulbs matched. i.e., superwhite headlights, corner bulbs and parking lights. or you can mix it up a little. it really boils down to personal preference. i have Piaa Super Plasma headlights and corner bulbs. and i have Piaa Plasma Blue parking lights. i haven't ordered my turn signals yet. i'm thinking about superwhites though.

it also boils down to that and legalities. It realisticly doesn't matter but if you are worried at all, just get yellow/ambers for your turns. other than that, raise hell. happy bulb hunting.

My parkinglights + corners: PIAA Super Plasma (168/194)
Flashers/Signals: Polarg SuperWhite (7440)

Result = SUPERWHITELY HAPPY

 

ok thanks a lot but what exactly do you mean by cornering lights? all i know is the headlights which have the fogs inside there with them and then the bumper lights which i think are parking lights...just help me out because i am confused!! thanks!

 

The headlight - There are six light bulbs for each headlight housing: the main headlight bulb (H4/9003), the fog light bulbs (H3), and the parking light (194/168).

The bumperlight - There are two bulbs for each side. The signal/blinker (7440), and the corners which can also consider as parkinglight (194/168).

The best way to know what i'm trying to tell you is to turn on the headlight of your car, and look at it.
