I got mine on eBay

I like them just fine. They are not as bright as the HID lights you see in other cars, but (depending on which you buy) they emit a blue-white light. I put these in along with some white LEDs for my clear side markers and it looks cool at night...but I do mostly city driving, and if it's too dim I just turn on my fogs. If I was doing a lot of highway driving at night, or out on country roads where there wasn't a lot of light I might prefer something brighter. But for roughly $10 I'm pleased with my purchase, and I can always swap my halogens back in if I need to.

My neighbor put some in his '92 Integra and complained they were too dim, so he got some PIAA ultra-whites and liked those fine.

If you go the cheapo ebay Xenon route, pay attention to the wattage, I've heard stories of people melting their wiring harness with bulbs that were drawing too much juice. Maybe just stories, but why take the chance?

No I've never heard of real HID lights for that cheap. In fact those are regular halogens, not actual HID lights. They light up with a filament, not with gas-charged ions like the actual HID bulbs.

I got mines from ebay too, were $8, xenon hid bulbs, i got 8500k which is too high i think as it emits too many colours.

hopefully police!

the 5000k on my friend's maxima look nice, also ebay, 5000 is like white while 8500 is like blue.

I do recommend them, they better than the factory i would say, even my 8500 look sexy.. and if its12-20, it is a cheap quality upgrade but i give my

ill try to take pics sometime

What are you talking about? The ballasts alone costs well over $150. Unless you know where I can buy a couple hundred of these for that amount so I can resell them for about $250/kit and people are happily willing to pay for them.
