Oh Oh ... I do like the honda emblem; might have to change my mind. Do you have a honda emblem on the back too?

Yes I am completely debadged except for my H emblem on the back. Some ppl dont like it. Its a matter of personal opinion I think. To each his/her own. I think the jdm inspire grill is so sharp. I have a lot of people in accords and integras staring like they can't figure it out. Lol

My mom has a green 99 civic...and its kinda weird seeing them next to each other(bc the grills) I will take a picture. Id like to compare my car now next to an older accord though. My mom also has a 2011 accord too but that wouldn't be much comparison.

I personally think that it doesnt matter bc japans doesn't promote acura brand they're all honda. Handa legend, honda inspire, etc. me personally i would debadge everything and juat leave the H or the A. We acura owners know what just pasted by us without hesitating. And its nice driving one and saying wow this car is rare

Why not? The JDM version of that Accord with the V6 IS an Inspire.

We have Acuras in Japan. Quite a few people imported the TLs from the States, too, since there isn't a JDM version of that. It's one of the many areas where Japan is way ahead of the US, specifically CA: if you want a LHD car, you can buy and register one. The inconvenience is all on you, although in Tokyo we have ticket machines on both sides because of the sheer number of LHD Mercedes' from Germany. That and the people who have licenses actually know how to drive, because it's a huge investment and the test is really strict. Besides, it's not hard to switch from RHD to LHD or vice versa, and I personally prefer RHD anyway.

~Cheers~

I totally agree. I went with the full debadging. To me it looks clean. I just had a guy in a 3rd gen tl strain to figure out what my car was. Lol. I wanted to scream "its a TL man"

Oh I get mad when someone has something and doesn't know the history of it. Like we all kmow that the 1st gen tl was inspired from the accord with either the 2.5 5cyl from the vigor or the 3.2 v6 from the legand. Boy I miss my tl but in the market to get another one I hope soon. But I have a 1st gen rl 02 model, love it to death.

it was valve cover gaskets, cam plug, and cam holder seals, which led to an oil leak of the front left cam seal, which meant cam gears had to come off when I noticed too much timing belt slack, so I'm replacing that and the tensioner and all accessory belts. While I was ordering parts, I also ordered a new fuel filter and air filter. Small project turned into a big pile of shit that's holding up my garage spot.

Next up is heater core, transmission mount, and transmission service once more

it's not exactly hard, but I don't like wasting my time on it.
