Ok... I tried searching and couldn't find it in any Threads. Has anybody tried to change the light in the ignition? My light doesn't work. I took apart the steering wheel around the ignition an tried to do it myself but got scared to go any further. I plan to put a L.E.D. to replace it. Hey... its the cheapiest mod that I can do for my 98.

 

It's a 74 bulb I believe. I wanted to do this but I couldn't find the bulb. I would just follow the two wires that would go to the bulb. There is a bulb there it is just a matter of finding it.

 

I took the whole steering column apart, follow the wires (3) to the ignition, and almost broke something trying to change my light in the ignition. So... before I give it another attempt... i would like to ask one more time... Does anybody know how to change the light in the ignition?
