Talking Just snapped some pix...

Well, I decided that I would buckle down and see about putting in my headunit that's been sitting in my room for about 6 months. I got estimates as high as $200 to put it in, and I, of course, didn't like the sound of that. So I called around, and sure enough, I talked with a car audio guy who said it wouldn't be that hard for me to put mine in. I also decided I would put in my neons as well. So, I got some hardware and 3.5 hours later: Finished. Soon, I am gonna make a custom switch panel and cover that will go in the empty DIN slot.
Some of the neon pix are brighter than others cause I used some different effects that my digicam has. Its bright, but not too bright.... anyway, enjoy...

Sorry, but the images might be a bit big so 56k beware!!

P.S. My parking ligths come on when I turn my car on. Do any audio experts know why this might be? I really have no clue...

Yeah, I installed the radio, and my parking lights are on only when the car is on (thankfully). They go off when I turn the engine off. Weird...

Ahhh, some of the pix work sometimes....I threw them up on the website in a bout 2 minutes...once I am done the whole install, then I'll move them to a better website.

oulaw29: I got them on eBay, like 40 bucks for 4 10" neons. I just tapped into a power source and zip-tied them under the seats and dash. Not very hard to do, considering I know zero about electrical stuff. You might need to go out and buy axtra 12V cable in case the wires they come with aren't long enough...

Do you have them on all the time? Just when the doors are open? on a switch?

Well, at the current time, none are on switches. All the wires are there, I just need to make a switch panel (probably gonna make it tomarrow). But, once the switches are installed, one switch will control the neon under my pedals, one will control the other 3 in the car, and another is gonna control a 15" that is going behind my front grille.

Just finished the DIN switch panel. It took me 8 hours from start to finish, but that's because I have no tools here whatsoever. I was basically using a pair of scissors, pliers, and box cutter. I'll post pix on my cardomain site as soon as possible.
