JDM engine for 2.5TL
I have a question, is there any difference between a JDM 2.5 engine and the engine that come in the US 2.5TL? i know that with the honda's there is but as far as power is concerned is there much difference?
ok im reallie going out on a limb here and could even be making this up lol. i think i heard on here before that there was 3 different engines for the jdm. the 3.2 as us the 2.5 and then a more powerful 2.5. again i have nothin to back this up but.. if anyone remembers this came up b4

3.2 = same as US
2.5 = same as US
2.5 V6 = only in japan
There was a 2.5 V6 but that is for the 99+ Inspire. Its just a J32 V6 thats smaller in displacement. It replaced the G25 motor in terms of approximate power and trim level.
The 1st Gen TL's (equivalent) in Japan had a 2.0 5 cylinder, 2.5 5 cylinder and the 3.2 V6.

Cars in many countries are taxed by the size of their engines. Which is why Japan has so many engines that are very powerful for their size

so if i swap out the engine that i have right now for a JDM 2.5 is it gonna give me anymore power or is it the same. cuz im looking for an engine and im looking at ebay and i keep seeing JDM 2.5tl. Just wanted to know if ther is any difference horse power wise.
