Interior Help

Last week i dropped beach on the rear seat under the driver seat and now the carpet is all coming off and now i was wondering if has anyone ever taken off the carpet to replace it? and if so could anyone show where i could get help.

i have the same prob with my driver side passenger... it was the previous owner that did it... i asked about a replacement carpet but it is insanely expensive...

yeah, for real i went to the dealer thinkin' it was around 200 to 300 dollars but crap it was close to 900 dollars

Hmm...i've actually taken out the entire carpet and the only thing i could suggest if you want to replace it is getting new carpet from an auto parts store and cutting it in the shape of the old one. you wont be able to do it right though b/c one flat sheet of carpet wont bend in the ways that the original stuff did b/c they probably made it in a mold. so the only way you'd be able to get the bends is to cut seperate pieces and sew them together (underneath so nobody would see it) to make it look like one whole carpet. it'd be a somewhat of a challenge but it sure beats paying 900 for a new one. i guess it all depends how badly you need a new carpet. but like i said, i've had the carpet out, and it'd be a challege but nothing impossible.
