who thought the front speakers were 5.25"??? i was on crutchfields website and checked what speakers would fit the 1st gen TL and it showed 6.5" speakers for the doors! all these years, ive been shopping around for 5.25" speakers. this is great news

They are 6.5", but you will prolly have to add a spacer to make anything besides a cheap small basketed speaker fit. I had to make one out of 1/2" MDF for my Kaption Pro 6.5" 's. Worked fine though, exact same spacer I had used on my integra, lucky I still had the template !! haha!

They're 6.5's but they have a really small frame. The factory basket has to be modiifed or a new frame has to be made. It's pretty easy to do.
