thats good to know...can you tell me where you got this rebulit starter from? i know pep boys sells them...are they any good?
I bought my 96 2.5 from Texas and its going through its first upstate New York winter, and she takes a little encouraging to start on some of those cold days. I wonder if thats an indication of wear or is it fairly normal. Mind you its only happening on the first start of the day, and even then not too often. prolly nothin, Im just bein paranoid.

It is possible the "electrode"??, the center part of the spark plug worn down and the gap increase, might need new plug or re-gap the plug. Bigger gap need stronger spark to jump across and cause hard starting problem.
