i dont think you have to remove the glove box.. in my case, as well as some others, all we had to do was open the glove box and the radio code was located on the side..

glove box removal

1) Unscrew the screws under the glove box. close the glovebox and look under it and there are a set of screws under there

2) Open glove box and unscrew the screw that is attached to the brace thing behind the glove box and pop out the little plastic tab thing.

3) Remove glovebox

4) You'll understand when you look at it

Same here, there is a sticker on my glove box on the side. All I have to do it open it up and its right there. Did u look under your coin tray for a sticker? Maybe older TL's have them in different spots i guess.

There's 2 other possible locations. I think one is inside the fusebox, and the other is on the back of the radio itself

Yeah I think most Honda products have the radio code UNDER the coin tray.

some require proof of ownership, and it cannot be done over the phone.

They really ALL should considering it kinda defeats the purpose of having an anti-theft radio when the code is in the car and everyone knows where, or if they could just go get it from the dealer without proving they at least own a TL!!

Hehehe, who would want to steal our shitty stock head unit?

Even if they bypass all the security features, there's one they can NEVER stop! Our friend CD-PE0 !

I can see it now. These thugs steal it, and try to put it in their riced out Neon. They make sure everything works and none of the security features are active. Then they put a cd in, in says CD-PE2, so they try again, and it reads the first track, then starts skipping and finally stops and says CD-PE0, and then they go crazy!

Putting the sticker somewhere is actually the DEALER that does it. The sticker comes in the manual and it's the dealer's or the owner's option to put it somewhere in the car. At least that's the way it is up here in Canada! Both my TL and my 'Teg had the stickers in the manual and I never saw them anywhere else in the car, and I've had BOTH cars ripped apart pretty well......

I looked under the coin tray, in the glove compartment (all sides), in my car manual specifically looking for the number on a card that they included, but nope, nuthing was found.
