Exclamation Help! engine sputtering. Grrrr....

Please help! I am new to this, I have a 1997 2.5TL and the engine has started to sputter while not only sitting in idle, but running as well. The check engine light has turned on and will blink on and off for a few seconds then will remain lit. Please if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

go to autozone and check for the error code first. its free

if u have less then 150,000 miles on the car go to the dealer hopefully the problem is only the emission, otherwises u pay the other costs that does not involved in emission

The free emissions system repair and tuneup are the way to go if your mileage is < 150K.

A blinking CEL means a misfire has been detected, further suggesting an ignition system fault or faults.

good luck

If the warranty work has not been done prior to your purchasing the car, Acura will be able to help....
