help on the check engine light
help on the check engine light
My 96 TL 3.2 had the check engine light on first, then after a while, the TCS light was also on.
My friend checked the code and found one osygen sensor doesn't work.
But after we replaced a new one, the computer gave the same code and the new osygen sensor still doesn't work in my car!
Any one can help?! please give an idea...Thanks in advance!

even when you change the sensor that is bad, the car will still show the same code or still have the CEL light on until the computer is reset. this is done by either disconnecting then reconnecting the battery, or by using the OBD II computer to clear the codes. after that the CEL should turn off and no more issues. if the car is still running bad the CEL will turn on again and a new test should be run.
