What type of headlight bulbs work well and would look good on a silver pearl TL? I was looking at blue plasma headlight bulbs. Any suggestions on brand and/or type? And what size headlights bulbs are in the 97 TL?

the main headlihts ate H4 (9003) and the fogs are h3c...you can get h3 bulbs but you will have to make a ground wire to use them because the h3 bulb uses a single wire( power no ground)

 

Get HID, if you can afford it.

 

yeah if your gonna spend the 100 on the piaa's save up and get hid's ... they are soo much brighter than any bulb i ever had

HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. They come on newer cars. Mostly Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Acura, Lexus and Infiniti. I'm sure you've seen them. They look purple/blue and are very bright. A kit for our cars goes for about $500. They last a VERY long time so you dont have to worry about changing the bulbs.

 

you might want to rethink about PIAA...they are prone to burning out prematurely

 

yep my first and last set of PIAA mainbeams lasted all of 6 months. the bumper and corners have been in for over a year no prob.
