have a 2001 cl loaner...

my 1996 3.2 is in the shop gettn some things checked out and the timing belt and drive belts changed. they gave me a 2001 cl to drive as a loaner. the car is nice because its brand new but the fit and finish quality on this car sux soooooooo bad. all kinds of rattles and noises, nothing like my 1st gen. i do admit the car hauls a$$ and i love that extra gear , but im just lettn those who dont know...know. the 1st gen is a much better car. but if we could have the tranny and the seats we would have the complete package. i have always felt we got screwed on the audio controls on the steering wheel and the outside temp gauge also . the legend had those y dont we??? make this long story short, we win hands down! GIMMIE MA CAR BACK

yeah, of course our cars are better
its made in japan

and those controls on the steering wheel can be a hindrance
especially if you get an aftermarket deck...

i'm thinking about changing the deck in my 99 odyssey but then the steering wheel controls would just sit there dead....

but i gotta admit they are extremely useful

just drive the cl like crazy before you have to give it back

Dbox, how much did they charge you for the timing belt replace on
parts and labor. My dealer in Honolulu told me it is close to $1,000. Thanks

My timing belt, drive belts and water pump cost me $920 total from Acura of Valley Stream in Long Island Queens. Now I have to change my exhaust and b-pipe and they want like $875 for the factory system. I am currently looking into a Remus System and maybe see if I can get a Dual Muffler system with Dual Outlets on each muffler.

The HKS power flow is the mushroom shape air filter, and I had just put in the clear corner 2 days ago with all the hyper white bulbs on the front-end, he he.
