okay here it is i was making a semi left coming out of something, okay think of it as switching lanes sharply and a van came and hit my front left fender and pulled from there. the fender got yanked forward, my left head light and bumper light are busted, i need a new bumper and a new left front fender cause its banged up pretty bad and probably a new grill like the whole middle piece. its a 1996 2.5 TL i need your help getting parts for it.

1. headlights (ill just get the new pair they were yellow anyways)
2. new bumper (cover)
3. new bumper lights
4. new front left fender
5. new grill

and the reinforcement on the front is fine but the head light bracket and shit are fucked

ill try and post pics tonight im in a bad mood and its hot as shit outside

start calling up salvage yards for price quotes, that's how I did it whenever I got into an accident.. rather than spending $1000+ in parts alone, I ended up spending only $450

 

im pretty sure thats what im going to have to do. i was just hoping maybe there was a site online that would sell like no name oem parts for cheaper than oem. cause i just checked on some oemAcura site and to get new what i broke is going to cost me about 1500 not painted so forget that

 

Junk yards are your best friends! Find a good one and have a field day, kinda like MythBusters.

 

definately look for a junk yard. Those parts will run you good money...
Headlights new will cost you $625 EACH (thats the price i got when i was looking for a new headlight @_@; ), bumper new will run about 300-ish, Fender will run a good 200-300, and i have no idea how much the grill would be...

 

JDM headlights were available on eBay, JDMISME is selling the JDM grill both on here and on eBay, and with a total production run of under 80,000 for the 1G, I'd think it'd be pretty hard to find parts at the junkyard... A good site also: www.carpartswholesale.com

you guys have been a lot of help and i really appreciate it. im going to use everything you guys gave me to see what is best for me. and also hit up the local yards. guess ill just have to drive around with no bumper for a while huh. its funny how people look at you like theyve never seen a crashed car with no bumper.

I was doing that in my Accord! Most people didn't even notice about the front-end not having a bumper reinforcement... They just thought that I had a huge FMIC and a nitrous-IC cooler, hehe. I wish I actually had either one of those things, though, hehe.

i guess i read this a tad bit too late then ^^^^ i just got all my parts direct from acura

1. Left Headlamp assembly
2. Left corner of bumper light
3. bumper face (front)
4. all the damn clips and shit neeeded
5. front left and right fendler liner
6. front left fender

and it all ended up coming out to $1,158.83 since i had a semi-hook up and they let me use a body shop account that some guy had. And since it was my dads car he wants to repaint the whole car out of his pocket and i will (probably) no longer drive the TL. I'll probably get a Maxima or some other big wheel welled 5 lug car that i can put on big rims. i wouldve felt bad doing that to the TL. So. Yeah. thanks for the help again everyone.
