i went to carmax with friend the other day. he is buying a car. well there happened to be some tls there. all 1st gen. now i look inside and it looks great. leather, wood....

but there is also wood on the center console and on all 4 door, in addition to the wood on the dash. BUT on my car, there is ONLY wood on the dash, NO WOOD ON DOORS, AND CENTER CONSOLE, INCLUDING THE SHIFT PLATE!????? very confused. now do you guys have it????

and secondly, do they make the ones without the wood on the doors, and center console? or did i just a unlucky one and the guy took it off?

What can I do to get wood? on the doors and center console? buy the kit? where and how much? THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE!

 

did you find out what year were those cars that you looked at?
They could be newer like 97-98 models... especially with Premium Package.

For the wood kit... i think you should ask Tim or Snook about it.

 

I won a woodgrain kit for my 96TL on ebay! I paid $80.00, the original price was like $250.00. It brought out the interior a whole lot! It matched the factory wood also!

I think that the wood around the doors and on the center console was an additionaly accessory tht you ordered from the dealership. Cause if you go to www.AHmotor.com the show it. I kinda like my center console without the wood. It looks cleaner to me. Just my opinion.

 

my car has wood everywhere. 96 3.2 premium. i have tried to find sum kits but cannot. i wanted sum to cover my ac vents. thats the only place i dnt have wood

 

I have the 97 2.5TL premium, it came with wood on the dash and the doors. I believe their is a kit for the doors, ac vents and the shift plate. The shift plate wood I was told would cost me about 40 bucks, Does Tim or Snook have it for cheaper???

 

i have a 97 2.5 and i don't have wood on the center counsole. i actually think it looks better this way cause the wood makes it looks a little more "sophisticated". and since i'm still a college student, i'm not ready to go into the ranks of "old folgies".
