yeah I know Mizouse...that's the only shit that's killin me! but hey...I paid $300 for the paint job and Maaco upgraded it to the second stage paint job, which is $600. They told me it was July 4th special and so of course I coughed up the money. I also paid another $300 to fix the dents and dings all over the car. As far as the meet goes...I hope I'll be able to go and represent for the first gens.

to paint the whole car, I paid $300 for their usual $600 paint job becuz they had a special during the month of July and yes...it cost me another $300 to fix that mess from the accident and other dings and dents all around the car.

What about those base model Volvos and Bimmers??

I saw a new x3 in the parking lot of my gym and half the car is unpainted
The rear and front bumpers weren't painted, nor were the lower doors or the trim around the fenderwell. Is it just me, or does a car just looks crappy when they don't paint half of it???

Maaco paint shops are privately owned so it depends on the shop whether or not they prep ur car. I washed my car just to make sure and they told me that they would primer the car before painting but I don't know for certain if they did or not. I have no close up shots but trust me...it's really nice. I even parked next to an M3 to compare the paint and they're identical....I cleared the tail lights and blacked out the headlights myself cuz you can take pride in doing it urself...plus the fact that it costs an arm and a leg to get some inspire tails.
