We basically have the Legend Type II gauges. You can tell since our speedometer (in the US at least) goes up to 160 mph. The Type I Legends went only up to 140 mph. In addition, our gauges are similar to Accords of the mid 90's.

I've never tried it, so you might end up breaking something

I took my needles off and it was a real bitch to get them back to normal again. it would say i was going 50 when i was only going 40 and my rpm were all messed up too. i fixed it off of some thread here but it took a long time and wasn't worth the effort.

I am suprised they used a needle that is not clear but solid . When u have reverse glow gauges , you can barley see them.

just change the color of the gauges. that's what i did because i kinda like the stock look and didn't feel like installing glows. mine are red and i just changed out the bulbs and filter strip at the top of the cluster.

i painted my needles red and i changed the filter strip at the top. i guess i could have just changed the bulbs to red ones but i didn't. i actually went to walmart and bought a kinda opaque school folder and cut that up in the shape of the filter strip and replaced the stock one with that. that makes the entire gauge cluster glow red. well you can pretty much do it in any color you want, as long as they make that color folder, heh.

and then i took that folder and cut out 4 circles, each the size of the gauges, and then slipped them behind the stock gauges so that the white numbers and dashes would glow red at night too. otherwise, it kinda looks pinkish with the red light up top and white glow of the numbers. again, you can probably just replace all the lights in the back of the cluster with red ones and get the same result. only problem is if you do the bulb route, you're limited to blue and red bulbs but with the folder route, you can do a lot of other colors.

in the end, i spent about $1.50 and an hour of my time from taking the cluster out, to putting it back in.
