Exclamation Inspire Tailight question

Hey guys I am new to this forum, but I have some questions. I bought Inspire tailights for my 98 TL and I was wondering if the was any way to remove the orange part inside the tailight so it would look all white. Also another question is after I installed the tailights, one of my brake lights does not work. Is this due to bad wires? I have checked and replaced the bulbs but the brake light wont work, and I also have a Brake Light on my pannel where the odometer is.

i had the same problem with my inspires...there's a box on the harness of our stock tails and it should be on the left one. i had to plug that box into the new inspire harness and swap it onto the right tail. that seemed to work. and as far as the orange part, you can do it but you'll have to open up the tails and for the price of the inspires, the risk isn't worth it.

You can take a drill and break the orange piece, then shake it out through the bulb hole... But then, they wouldn't be true Inspire tails.

~Cheers~
