i know i tightened everything. the strut is touching the engine so that's why it's all rattling. it only rattles a lot during idle.

yeah i had the same problem .... what you have to do is take it off and spin the mount so the screw on the bar comes out more and that will make it clear the engine

:wow: I love the strut bar. I promised myself that i wouldnt spend any more money on my car except upkeep. But after looking at the strut bar, man, temptation.
The grill looks good. The only diff. between the Azect and Mugen is the Mugen looks like it has a fat lip on the bottom. The Azect has a smaller lip on the bottom. Now all you need is a front under spoiler.:p

hehe that engine looked exactly like mine!!! hahahah.

hey 96TL, does your strut hit the top of the hood? just wondering cause i finally got everything right. i'm surprised there weren't rubber gasgkets included with the struts. but whatevers, i had some spare rubber pieces so i just did a quick cut out to lessen the vibratons.

hope you liked your struts cause i loved mine. i never thought the struts were going to make such a big difference, but damn was i wrong. the car feels so much stiffer and the handling is soooooo much better. it's well worth the 200 bucks. it makes as big of a difference as the springs!!! hope you guys follow suit.

The car looks good. I was in no way trying to degrade.

I hooked up on some site through the Secret Service Inspire Site or whatever its called. They were able to get all the Mugen stuff (Discontinued Now)and JDM Inspire stuff for pretty good prices. Shipping Costs is the Killer. I no longer have the computer that had the site's address in my favorites list. Other wise i would just give you the link.

Yeah I’m not into hooking up my car engine wise. The only thing I would upgrade is the suspension. Thats why I wish they made that strut bar. I plan on getting some KONIs and coilovers if they fit. Besides suspension, all my mods are for looks. I dont think they make coilovers for 3.2's that work with KONIs though. Another thing 3.2s get beat for.

Thats smart the only engine mods I have are spark plugs and spark plug wires.I had a custom built intake but I didnt like it so I took it out.I also basically only hook up my cars exterior and interior(no engine) I will get the sway bars soon cause I have koni yellows and eibach springs but I really want TV's, at least 5.That is my plan for this summer.

How come you guys arent into hooking up the engine? If your car has the looks it better have the balls to back it up.

Not true. To me its not worth modding TLs enginewise. Its a luxury car, not a sports car. By a Supra if you want speed, not a TL. Not to mention there are hardly any parts for the motor. That should tell you something right there.

True that. Our cars are too heavy and long to race with,I will rather cruise and feel the luxury of Acura .If i want a sports car or a car for racing I will get a coupe.

besides if somebody wants to race us soo bad then we can just flip the visors toward them so they can watch what we are watching
96tl is right if yo want a fast car but a supra or an rx7... some kid i know has a supra (single turbo with a greddy t82 :wow: .) that car runs 10's :wow: but then again he uses race fuel and regular gasoline

Dont you love that? Do people always ask you how much they cost? At least one person says something to me everytime I drive it and everyone stares at me. :p People even ask me what channels I get. lol.

Im not talking about turning it into a race car...just a car with some decent balls...Imagine 96tl, youre car is hella fast, and its also got that sweet ass video setup. (Im jealous of that setup as you can see )

There are not very many parts for my dads jaguar either. Does that mean that its not a sports car? Plus you dont need a sport car for speed!! How about a 96TL with a pimped out exterior, sweet sound system, sweet video system and a 300HP engine. When Im done with my car I will turn more heads then a Supra could!!
