Exhaust advice please

hi guys. looking for some advice/help on what you recommend for me.

my oem exhaust is busted. holes in it, muffler, and i think the pipe before the cat. i forget what the mechanic said. but maybe you can still help me.

I want to fix my exhaust but dont want to spend more than necessary. But this is also an oppurtunity to get a little more performance out of my 110k beast.

nothing rice, nothing loud.
a full exhaust, or muffler, whatever. like to know what worked for you guys.

hit me...

thanks guys.

same here.. I dont know much about exhausts, but thats what has kept me from purchasing a performance exhaust. I do not want to make it all noisy/riced out. I like the nice shiny chrome looking ones, maybe some added performance, but definately not noisy. If anyone else knows of one, please post

Mine's definitely not rice, but it is a _little_ loud. It's a Vibrant universal muffler with a Ractive tip. It's louder than stock, but it's a deep low sound, instead of a loud harsh sound. I like it. And it looks great.

if you want to add hp, you'll have to live with "noise" well unless you get a silencer. universal mufflers are only loud when your at high speeds. there are diff types of universal mufflers at www.andysautosport.com

If you dont want any sound at all then just get an exhaust tip. That's what I have and it's cheaper too.

I just got mine from a local shop... Sorry - don't even know the model number (I'll try to find it). All I was interested in was the tip, and I couldn't see any way to just weld it on. I love the sound of my car now, though.
