So, recently my driver-side window has been having major up and down problems.

Sometimes it goes up, no problem.

Other times it won't go up at all, won't make a sound, won't do anything.

Still other times, I hit the up button and it doesn't go up. I'll hit it again and it goes up.

All of the other windows work fine too.

Thanks for any insights.

Oh yeah--97 2.5 Standard, 167K, no mods, everythying up to date.

Motor may be going out. Could also have a bad switch.

 

Bad motor or bad wiring.
