Desperately need help!!
1. I had encounter a problem with my cigarette lighter. It doesn't work for some reason and there aren't any fuse for it I don't think. Can anyone please tell me how to fix it?
2. For some reason, my stupid "D" light in the gauges blew out, where do I go to find replacement?
Thanks for your help!

Also, the D4 light burned out for me too, you literally take the gauge cluster apart and replace one stupid bulb, I'm not going to bother though, its not worth all that time and effort.
My cig lighter has been doing its job since I got the car. No advice there. Interestingly enough, my D4 light burned out about 8 months ago, and suddenly has come back on. I can't explain this one.
The way I see it though, you can always tell when your in D4 by the absence of the indicator light. That's how it was for me.

There is a fuse for the cigarette lighter, I know cause I blew it, it's the same one as the RADIO fuse I think, cause I remember my radio stopped working. (A dime managed to fall into the lighter and when I plugged in my phone charger, it caused a short!) Pretty simple fix. As for the D4 light, mine's been out since I bought the car, never changed it. I can always look at the shifter itself if I'm ever not sure what gear I'm in...

Not that its any help, but my D4 light has been out since I got my car a little over a month ago. I dont plan on fixing it, seems like too much work for a little indicator light. All other lights work fine though! Oh Acura
My D4 came on and then came off, it'z annoying to see all other indicators are on and not the D4. With the charger problem, I still have no luck finding out what blew it, but if anyone who fixed it, please give us advice. Thanks
Since some of us are fortunately enough that the D4 light magically lid up again, and because of that I'm not too sure if the light blew out or loose in wiring. Worth it to take a look or not up to you guys.
Here's the instructions on how to fix it from what i found in this forum:
1. Unscrew the 2 screws on top, under the dashboard that goes over the gauges.
2. Remove the 2 screws on each side of the steering wheel. You'll find easy access to those screws by lowering the steering wheel all the way down, and look for rubber flaps that covers the screws.
3. Gently pull out the whole piece that goes around the cluster. Be gentle with it, it might crack. You'll need to unplug the clock and the hazard switch as well. Pay special attention to the vent on the driver side.
4. Once everything is off, unscrews the 4 screws around the cluster.
5. Take out the cluster and handle it with care otherwise you'll scratch it. The cluster barely fits through the hole, so be careful.
6. Look in the middle of the cluster and you'll see a row of bulbs for the shifter indicator. Replace the broken bulb, and put everything back together.
Someone said that you can get the replacement bulb at the dealer for 5 bucks. If you can't afford it, switch the bulb with other shifter bulb. If you gonna go to the dealer and get the bulb, ask them if they can fix it for free...who knows you'll might get it.
And for the cigarette outlet, I'm still waiting for an answer.
Good Luck!!

I would like to know which fuse you are talking about for the lighter, because I have been trying forever to get mine to work. It is not the stero fuse, because my stereo works. Does anyone with the full service manual have this info.
I don't think there is a fuse for the lighter, i checked every single fuse and came up with nothing. I gotta do further testing to see if there's circuit goin through it. If i fix it, i'll let you guys know.
u gotta replace the socket itself... i finally did it last summer... works like a charm now... if ur radio is working fine and ur cig lighter is just out... go get a replacement at autozone... thats what i did... i looked all over for a fuse but couldn't find nething... i took a meter to the plug for the cig and found there was power going there just nothing into the socket itself...
