You probably need a torque wrench to get the bolts off the rotors...or something with power to it.

Also, gotta be careful with the tails since they are plastic..

Good luck and sorry to hear!

well a few mishaps is no reason to sell your car. trust me, i've been thru those days time and time again. it seemed that no matter what i did (cept oil change or something) that whenever i started, i'd end up finishing it at dark. no matter what or when. and that can really ware a guy out. but eventually you get it done, get things fixed, etc. and it makes it all worth it. i mean, if you never suffered, you'd never feel as good when it finally is done and done right. hang in there man, you'll be alright.

ps - if there's one thing i've learned thru my whole 'do it yourself' thing is: have the right tool(s). if you don't, you're bound to be frustrated.

yea...tools are very important. If you try to rig things you will probably end up damaging more in the end. To do the brakes air tools are a big help.

Yeah, get the right tools....but don't use a torque wrench to take OFF anything!!! Can actually do damage to the wrench. a long-armed ratchet willl work better.....(Or you could use a cheater bar)

the other thing i learned....with this tool thing....is that patience really is a virtue. i know when i wanna get it done, there's no stoppin. and if i have to wait a day for parts or tools, i get frustrated and try to work around it. that's a very bad idea. so now i'm waiting longer and trying to take my time. hopefully it pays off in the end.....i think it will.
