Yo 96TL, not to blow up your spot or anything, but you posted a while back that you ordered MB Mirror Signals and were going to put them on your car and you were going to post some pics. My bad, if I'm wrong, but I don't think I ever saw or heard you speak about them anymore. Did u really get them and install them or are you just talking smack?
it was going to cost him way over 500 (wasn't it almost a thousand ?)dollars .... after he already spent like 150-200 on the clk blinker and LED's. He wasn't just "talking smack". He attempted and after getting a final estimate on how much it was he decided not to, would you want to spend over 700 on some damn blinkers ? no - unless you have money sticking out your azz..

Thanks Tre!
I just figured it wasn't worth doing because I spent $60 on the blinkers and $150 on the LEDs already. Labor to install them without paint was gonna cost $900-$1000. I would've had to have a whole front mirrror half custom made out of fiberglass. Plus figure another $150-$200 to paint them. Is it worth spending $1300 on blinkers? Nah. You've got to be insane. I've spent way more than that on my car but not for blinkers that would probably become a headache in the future. Moisture problems, loose connections, burned resistors, etc. I did find a guy who said he would do them for $500 but he gave me an attitude and we started beefin over the phone. I just hung up on him. I'm not giving some jerk-off my money. I sold the blinkers and gave up on the whole idea. The only chancee you have of getting them is getting E-Class blinkers which are alot smaller. The only downside is that they come with amber LEDs and they cost $175 each. Then I would've had to pay to have the LEDs swapped with Hyperwhites. It probably would've almost cost the same amount of money.

Getting a little touchy fellas? What, nobody can accept a little criticism? Is the kitchen too hot for ya? Y'all taking it overboard, take a chill pill. What is the point of asking questions if every one's feelings are gonna get hurt?
Our feelings aren't "hurt". Theres nothing wrong with asking questions, its just the way you asked. "Did u really get them and install them or are you just talking smack?" isn't a cool way to ask someone a question. Not to mention the little mad smiley at the end of the question. As you can see I didnt get nasty with you and I just pretended not to notice and I even typed out a long explanation of what happened. Everyone here gets along perfectly and we all respect each other. When a newbie comes in talkin sh*t then we're all naturally going to get defensive. If you were a more active member you would've known what happened. But thats okay because everyone doesnt have time to visit a forum everyday. Like I said, the question was okay just the wording sounded bad. Its all good though, no hard feelings.
