well crap! lol.

 

I'm currently trying to do this. I put paint stripper on my plate and nothing has happened. So I did it 2 more times, still nothing. What am I doing wrong? The only thing I can think of is that I'm using a liquid (not a spray).

 

There is one in a can (the spray) spray it on and wait for like ten minutes then wipe it off it's just like an aluminum looking film that rubs off. You're using paint stripper not paint thinner right? When it starts to come off just wash it off and the rest will follow.

 

Just buy the RL one sooo much easier!

Anyone knows if the 04 RL chrome shift plate comes in normal chrome color, or smoked chrome? Please let me know because I am about to order one today....

 

It's a normal chrome, I installed one myself.

Yeah, I got rid of the car last December. Moved to the Dark (read German) side. ;-) It's good over here.
