Changing Fog Lights

I've changed all my lights except for my fog lights. I dont know if I'm not pulling hard enough to get the light out or what cause they seem to be stuck in there. Is there a certain way to do them and what are the best kind of fog lights to get.

I had to get the stock bulbs. They're expensive, but they were the only ones with prongs that fit. The bulbs themselves are very easy to take out. It tells you in the instruction manual how to remove the rubber covers. Basically you pop the hood (of course), then remove the coolant overflow bottle (this is for the driver's side one), and there should be a rubber housing. It's very easy to take off, just pull it out. Then to get the bulb out, unfasten the metal clip holding it in, and unplug the electrical cord from the bulb. The passenger's side is harder to get at the rubber thing, but once you do it it's the same process (minus the coolant bottle part). You might have to access it from the wheel well or something if you have big hands.

The bulbs were $25 CDN when I bought them, but they last about 8 years with above average use.

Word, from day one I loved that. When my dad first got the car, that was like THE cool thing about the TL's was those Yellow fogs. Everyone always commented on them, I will never be changing those out.

you need H3C bulbs. You can convert to the regular H3 system, but i forgot how.

IMO, dealer is the best place to get them. I've gotten a few from an auto parts store and they only lasted 2 months. The ones i got from ebay lasted something like 4 months. So within the past 6 months, i've bought almost 5 bulbs so far. 5 bulbs times $25 average = $125 spent just on foglight bulbs.

I agree that the best place to get them is the dealer. I think i posted pics on how to change the fogs. Just in case here they are again!
All images are copy righted by Honda (disclaimer lol.)

The process is the same for the headlights and fogs. Have fun!

I bought H3 8500k Bulbs from eurodesignz for my fogs and just converted them.

It is a very simple process.

The stock bulbs has 2 prongs which plug into the stock wiring harness.

The h3 bulb has one wire coming off of it with the slim fitting that plugs into one side of the stock wiring harness.

The OTHER side requires you to get a little bit of wire, an O-type end, and a Long flat end(just like the one found on the H3 bulb).

Just put the ring style connecter on one end of the wire, and then flat connecter on the other. Ground the ring side to the fog light housing, and plug the other into the wiring harness.

Very easy

I may be swapping my headlights and fogs to silverstars shortly.

I heard that. It makes our cars very unique. I love how they are built in with the headlights. But ya peeps like to conver them, that's cool too.

Has anyone changed their foglights to HID? The foglight housing is kinda projector-ish, so I thought it'd might be a good setup for HID (except when it's actually foggy, I can imagine that wouldn't work too well).
