Car problems will temper my celebration

Not a big problem, but my horn, when I hold it down for longer than a short beep, sounds weak. It sounds like it's out of breath.

So I won't be able to celebrate the Tar Heels' victory tonight exactly as I'd like. I'll just have to holler out the window.

Just push it a bunch of short times. Like a long series of short beeps, instead of a few honks. lol.

TLBaller,

I thought it was the battery too the first time I noticed it 18 months ago.

It's not the tone of the horn (although it's true that Japanesse have a weak and annoying tone), it sounds like the sound a horn blower makes when he's blowing a note and on his last bit of air.

BTW, I didn't need the horn for the celebration. Other folks took care of the horn honking for me.

I agree...

The TL's horn sucks (as all Japanese car horns suck)! My mom's Volvo has a better horn... a freakin' Volvo!

:shakehead it has a distinct sound IMO... Japanese cars don't have loud horns... or it doesn't sound loud because its a higher pitch horn... if you notice... between American and Japanese is the pitch of the horn... I don't know why... might be because of the different configurations of the horn... but i have to disagree... well its more of my opinion... the TL horn sounds pretty cool... different... unlike my 83 Cadillac... that sounds deep... and so un-unique... it sounds like every other car on the street... i honk my TL's horn... and it gets the attention... but then again... it sounds like every other Honda/Acura...

Still... most Japanese cars do have crappy horns ***coughMazda/Toyotacough***... but not all...
