I feel your pain!

I recently got mine dropped, and for our particualr car, it's hard to find, but if you do, it's going to cost you a hell of a lot of money to get it done, plus they have to cut into the whell abse of your car, I said screw it. Luckily I got coil overs so I just raised it up a bit.

I had a front camber kit installed on my 97 3.2TL and parts availability was no problem. It cost me $120 Canadian per side for the kit and the labour to install and realign was about $150 Canadian.

One thing that my mechanic said was to be careful not to buy the kit that used a non-rubber bushing because it can dry up quickly and crack.

tha only kind of camber kit that i recommend is tha ingalls. you can get tha polyurethane or rubber ones. its not that expensive IMO and i dont believe you have to cut off any of tha wheel well at all.

I have my 97 3.2TL lowered about 1-1/2" with koni sports (control knob set 2 turns) and eibachs and when I corner hard or hit a medium bump, the front upper suspension arm hits the inner fender well. I can see the mark.

I'm wondering if the 2.5 TL upper suspension arm sits lower (or inner fender sits higher) because there are a lot of TLs posted on this site that have been dropped a lot lower than mine and no comments about interference with the inner fender. Does anyone know?

98tl

if im not mistaken, a set of ingalls (two front or two back) will run about $180 depending on where you get it from. thats for tha polyurethane ones. tha rubber ones run cheaper (like $70 a corner instead of $85 like tha urethane). installation usually costs alot too. i forgot how much this one shop told me. well over a bill i think. someone else know?

tl12

i dont know anything about the 2.5 and 3.2 having different heights on tha upper suspension arm. my ride is dropped at about 3" on 18's and i hardly rub unless im rollin deep or if im on a slant.

i been laggin on gettin tha camber kit. for some reason my tires arent wearing that bad even though my wheels butterfly like crazy. ive had my tires on for over 4 months and tha inside really isnt worn. i guess its b/c i dont have a stick so i cant peel out? i might not even put a camber kit on. oh well...

install the kits yourself it isnt that hard, after you install them take it to a good place to have them aline and set your camber.

Camber kit number and price

I have a 2.5TL w/ a 2.25" drop(maybe settled lower). When I ordered my new wheels and tires I bought an Ingalls Camber Kit for the front. It's the same as the Accord part # 3573 w/ adjustment range of +1-1/4 deg to +3 deg. the kit was only $65 a side and $40 a side to Install. They are very easy to install. I paid to have them Installed because I couldnt get any help at the time. But I have installed a set before w/ my bro's help.
The kit is pointless UNLESS you get a 4 wheel laser alignment once installed to adjust the camber, toe, and caster.
You will only need the front because they are doing the pulling and turning. The rear is only being pulled.
I have had my new tires Since JULY Of 2001 and put about 20k on them w/ no sign of uneven wear.
I hope I have helped.
