2.5TL Engine Code?

Anybody know the engine code for the 2.5TL? Also, does anybody know the history of the engine (rumor has it that Honda borrowed this design from Audi).

that could be true. i believe sometime in the eighties, vw/audi had a turbo five-banger in the certain performance models.

well i know euro's were the 1st and only ones to have 5 bangers. i believe the 740 volvo is a 5 banger..
