A/C condensation issues???
Anyone ever experianced the ac condensation drain clogging up? I was on the way home from work last night, its like 96 degrees out plus mass humidity.... Im rocking out with my shit on 60 degrees, next thing i know my cd player starts dumping smoke. I pulled over, pull the dash climate control wood trim off to find the ac duct is leaking water out of one of the seams. I reach down the vent once ive taken some panels on and the base of the white canister/vent that comes off the blower motor has like 1 inch of cold water in it.
Where the hell is the drain tube for the ac system? When im running my ac nothing drains outside of my car, so it must be clogged. I mean im sure i can fix it and find it, id just like a good idea of where to look since the temps outside are like that of an pioneer era slave ship.

Drain-O!! There's a little tube on the AC compressor, maybe that got pinched or twisted. I'm not too sure of any other locations, though... I don't remember seeing anything while in the engine bay.

AC drain runs from the back side evaporator underneath the dash on pax side, through the firewall, bending 90 degs down to an open ended tube that should drain. If you have no condensation drain, the tube is probably plugged w/ debris pulled in through the fresh air inlet. You can try cleaning the tube w/ a short piece of wire, but unless the blockage is in the vertical-down tube, you probably won't be able to clear. Pulling the evaporator on a 2.5TL is a pretty good job, and the AC must be discharged and two hoses to evaporator released. Acura shop manual is essential.
