I have the same problem. I think its the lil motor that locks and unlocks the door. The power doorlock thingy. Too lazy to change it.

My locks don't buzz, but they'll make a noise after you lock them that sounds like the car is locking them over and over again.

I guess our locks are just tempermental.

Solenoid

I have the same problem, but during UNlocking. It is the solonoid that moves the lock. Only problem is you can't get just that one little part, it is built into the locking mechanism which is almost $300 canadian to replace. I am going to disconnect the factory one and add in an aftermarket door lock solonoid, just haven't had time to get it set up. Let you know when I get it done.

yah i've got the same problem too, draws a lot of stares, hahaha. kinda embarassing though cause people don't know what that noise is and it really screws up the stock alarm system. it would go off in the middle of the night for no reason. i would get a fixed but the stupid acura dealers quoted me 400 bucks just for the part. grrr i sense that i'm getting ripped off...

Not sure of the brand, threw out the box. Got them for free from my g/f's uncle (helped him clean out his house here when he moved to florida, he used to own a car audio shop) but I think a decent one is like $45 cdn, so should be like $30 down there. I'm about 15000 km's from SECOND timing belt. But I'm over cautios, every 80000 kms. about $550 at the dealer here. Just spent $450 on breaks....i feel your pain brother let me tell you!!! And I gotta buy snowtires still I guess you don't have that problem down there....must be nice! I think I'm gonna move down to Florida with my g/f's aunt and uncle!!! haha!

This is a fairly common problem w/ Hondas and Acuras. See following link for one fix. It's probably easier to find a used solenoid from a salvage yard. However, installation of the replacement is not easy and requires patience.

CordClud Thread on Door Lock Solenoids

You can find used replacement parts w/ the following link. I usally restrict my search to local (TX) salvage yards.

Car-part.com

good luck
