Brake Pads replacement

Need help.

My Brake wear indicator is whining hard!!!!

1st time to replace Brake Pads, I need directions. Fairly easy to do?

Checked with the dealer, costs $60 for the front Pad set. I will attempt to replace myself.

Should not be hard, but I need somebody's advise.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Mandy

i bought AXXIS brake pads from A&H motorsports. they're the cheapest i found on the net. i received the pads in poorly condition but all the other TL'ers who bought axxis pads (from diff shops) told me theirs came in bad condition as well. i haven't gotten any dust on my rims ever since i put them in!

yeah thats true, if you come to a stop and hear "screeching" sounds then your "almost gone" brake pads are eating up your rotors. rotors cost a lot to replace so you can save money by resurfacing them. its a whole lot cheaper. next time, if your thingy screeches, change pads ASAP!

Pads are very simple if you have ever done them. The TL pads were the easiest I have ever had to do, just make sure that you have the tool to screw the piston back into the rear caliper (the piston has a big + on it and the way it adjusts is to unscrew, so with new pads you must screw it back in. Very simple.
I however had both of my right rotors wear down until they were very thin, added a rust tint to my paint!

Did my pads, last night. Quick and easy.

14 mm Bolt on the front and 12 mm on the rear.

But I forgot to put the grease in between the cylinder and the shim......maybe it will not hurt.

It took longer to raise the car, unbolt the wheel than replacing the Pads. Lucky for me, the wear indicator just started to kiss the rotor.

Now, I feel a nice solid brake!

Thanks all for your help!
