I want to get the blue mirrors like all the german cars have but i don't wanna buy the whole thing cause i wanna keep my power windows. does anyone know where i can buy just the actual mirror itself and not the whole unit?? any help would be appreciated.

 

can you get something like a film and put that over your mirror? i'm not sure how that would work though, just an idea.

 

I don't think that a film would look as good. i want the mirrors to look OEM. i'm going to start looking around for some. most mirrors are the same size aren't they?? if they are then i might just call a VW dealer and ask how much the mirrors are. that might work.

most likely, you're going to have to buy the whole housing, and have it custom fitted. Which will come out to a high price. VW and BMW mirrors don't look to great on our cars.IMO

 

how do you figure that i'm going to have to get it custom fitted?? as long as the mirrors are the same size it should glue right in. why do you think that the mirrors don't look good on our cars?? have you seen one with them??

 

i think what he's talking about is replacing only the glass and not the entire housing. i don't remember how the benz's entire housing looks like, but i'm sure it won't fit. but if you can jack their piece of glass, i'm sure you can put that in our housing.

 

yeah, i'm talking about just replacing the glass on it. that's all i want to do. i want to keep my power mirrors but just add the glass. i'm going to find out how much it is. i don't want to anything to the housing though.
