ATTN: those with subs in the trunk

...or i guess for anybody who keeps valuables in the trunk, do you guys lock the trunk release lever, by your foot, AND lock the ski slot in the back seat? Or do you not care? Well I do, im sure bandits will still find a way to the trunk but it slows them down, no? I have my subs back there and sometimes my gun.

That is a good idea for when I leave my windows down when my car is in the driveway. The only time that I wouldn't do that is when my windows are up and my doors are locked but that is like all the time because I don't trust anyone where I live but thanks for the idea.

Been procrastinating the whole bolting down my subs...

Might start locking the lever to the trunk... wonder if it works

I lock them both, and let me tell you, the side trunk release is much harder to get through compared to the outside lock. I have nothing but a squeegee, some spare light bulbs and a small sub in my trunk. I don't carry anything in there anymore, especially after what happened last time.

~Cheers~

i have my sub and my carputer in the trunk... but i do keep the lever locked since i have a trunk solenoid that i can pop with my Aux button on the alarm or use the key if i need to... but i keep the ski pass unlocked and actually open so that air can flow into the trunk for the carputer... otherwise it will overheat... i don't really see anyone being able to squeeze their @$$ in through the ski pass... worse they can do is try to disconnect the carputer but the wires are buried under the mat and it would take them some time...

Remember how my car was stolen and the entire contents of my car were taken, too? I lost too much and I showed desired_speeds how easy it was to get into our trunk, even when everything is locked. The second time my car was stolen (last time was the third time), they cracked the ski pass near the base of it (part that has bolts through it) when trying to pull the rear bench off.

~Cheers~

Both always locked. Don't mind spending an extra 5 seconds to open the trunk with a key to help protect valuables in the trunk
