Just buy a Single DIN kit. It has a slot for 1 radio and fills up the remaining space or have a frame custom made. It doesnt cost that much. I would say about $50 or so. I used to have a Single DIN Kit but now I have a Double DIN setup. I'm sure you can find one of those kits online if you're interested. You could try making one yourself out of ABS plastic. It takes good measuring skills and a sharp razor. You can get a few different types of material on this website. Select Products

Heres a pic of my setup.

Well it depends. If you get a Double DIN Radio which is the exact size of the factory radio then obviously you dont need a kit. If you do what I did and use 2 seperate units all you need to do is bind the 2 units together with those metal straps that normally come with any radio. 2 of them should be enough. Then you have to make a small frame that fills in the remaining space around the units. Thats pretty easy. You should be able to do that yourself. Keeping the 2 units straight is a little annoying though. It just takes patience. If you look in my pic you see the frame a little bit. Dont forget to NOT use the frames that come with the radio or they'll never fit. Good luck.

Usually if you do a single din set up, then they have the mounting kit that has the pocket underneath the head unit which is where I keep my remote control for the radio.

you can place an EQ at the bottom of your head unit. or you can get one of those cd player WITH a EQ in one unit that takes up the whole space but thats not as strong as having just the head unit (thast what ive been told)

I paid $750 for it. Its only for video, no DVD, no CD, no radio. Its Pioneer. The resolution is incredible.

LOL. No. I mean the screen doesn’t have a BUILT-IN DVD player. Its just a video screen. Some of them have a tuner built in, or a DVD player or a CD player. Mine doesnt. You can hook up any video source you want to it though. DVD, VCR, Playstation, X-Box, Camera, whatever. I have a DVD Player and a rear view camera.
