Another totaled TL
Another totaled TL
My girlfriend was driving my 97 3.2 tl to school the other day and some guy decided to make a U-turn on the highway. His insurance company accepted 100% fault. They totaled out my car. They sent me a letter saying they would give me $4590 plus tax to total $5035.68. My car had 184,xxx miles and was in fair condition. I had primmered the hood and driver fender as the car was keyed, Other then that there was nothing wrong with the car. This pic was taken about a month ago.

She is ok. Lucky for her the car only got hit on the front fender and wasn't damaged to bad. The only problem is that it head straight on with the frame and bent it upwards. Thank you everyone for there concern.
^ Good to hear. My girl was hit by the airbag in my 00 Civic when we almost went off a freeway overpass. Luckily all that happened physically was a small cut on her lip... I had a cut by my eye and a poke mark from my earring jabbing my neck after the airbag basically punched me in the face. It was her first accident and she was traumatised by it. Until she flew back to Japan (about 3 days), she would visibly tense up and grip the seat bolsters when I approached freeway speeds. A few months ago when she flew over, I drove her around in the Range Rover (I was still working on the TL) and you could tell it still affected her, but the effects had subsided.

Sorry I let the insurance keep it. (It was not worth buying back).
I bought many parts from http://www.ufixithonda.com/ best rates I could find and post parts to.
To keep you all updated I replaced my TL with a 94 Suburban until I can find another TL.
^ Seriously, the two on CL right now in our area are both going for about $6500 with one being salvaged. I have a feeling that the salvaged one was an insurance job because it's too clean to have been in an accident that would total it. Only 70K miles, too. The bloke's in San Jose.
