I just installed the air intake I fabricated this weekend. The new throaty sound of the engine is great, a huge difference! The performance gain was hardly noticeable, but there WAS a difference.

I built a short ram intake. The CAI had too many curves in my opinion.

 

99 si cai aem. Cut it right where the pipe comes up through the fenderwell in the si and straitens out to go towards the intake mani.. that small peice that goes down in the fenderwell on the si is the new upper peice for the 3.2 tl. The long peice left over that would go back to the intake on a si will then go off to the fenderwell on the tl.

Look at my engine bay here, i dont have the cai peice on due to the rain recently.

aye what happend to your climate control when you installed the 99 si cai.. also can you give me the entire directions to make a cai the directions that were given to me on the forum were for a honda del sol....so i was thinking this might take a little more time to figure out how to make it?
