Ok anybody reading this post i should've known better but i didn't really give a f*ck. My boy has a Maxima suped up (is that how u spell ''suped'') with that ''MUGEN'' bullsh*t but anyway he claims it has 270hp but i don't know. We were racing on the highway at around 110+. Because i wanted to see what his car had since he was talking all that yingyang. So there we are goin in and out of lanes, it was fun like hell and we did lookout for cops if ya'll did not know. DAH. All i seen cars was cars zoooooooming past us (just to let u know i am good driver). Then all of a sudden the road was clear i was like, ''hell yeah his car ain't sh*t''. As soon as i said that i looked back in my rear view mirror i see this muthaf*cka pass me like if i was drivin' backwards or somthin'. As soon as he passed me i gave him the finga with a smirk. In the back of my mind i was like i'm never going to here the end of this sh*t. So whoever is reading this story what kind of enhancements can i put on my car.

 

well, first of all...Welcome to the board! Secondly, there is jack crap for our cars. engine wise, Weapon R makes air intake and air filter for our cars but thats about it for us....everything else has to be custom made.

there are suspension stuff for our cars as well. there are eibachs that drop your car 1.3 front and 1.0 in the back. and i think intrax make some for our cars thats lower. there is also body kits, rims, clear front bumper lense, jdm tail lights, and light bulbs, grills and such. so we have the "show" thing going for us but as for the "go"....well, you gotta have money for that sh*t.

by the way your car, stock, has 176 hp while the 96 maxima, stock, has 190hp. i dont know how he got 270hp? unless he's squeezing and maybe rebuilt his heads or some major engine work. Don't f*ck with maxima's dude...they aint no joke.

 

You could get that much horsepower from your TL....just hope you have 7 or 8 thousand lying around

 

all u need is 5 grand cash. fabricate mountings and pipings for a blower and run it at 8-10psi boost. i'm almost there, just 2 more g's.

 

Or just spend around a "g" and have a bottle that you can adjust horsepower on...HAHA
With a stock 2.5TL and a 75 shot of NOS you will dyno right at 200hp to the wheels(around 250 motor hp). Add a filter, plugs, and other minor parts for more gain.
Believe me you will take 95-98 BMW M3 5-speeds(good for mid to high 14's stock).

 

The Maxima is a sick car and dont even bother going up the 2002 Maxima cause that will definitely be "No Contest". They do make pretty nice cars and I am not just saying it cause I have a 300ZX but they are nice cars and its good competition for Honda and Acura, so Acura and Honda have the incentive to make better cars.
