Window issues.
Window issues.
I live in MASS, we had a big now storm last week, long story short is I cleaned all of the windows but visibility was bad, I rolled down the rear right window and left, after I moved 3 windows rolled up but the rear right window would not go up. I drove off and as I drove I pushed the window switch and it mostly went up. Temperature is warmer, reached around 32 degree, I played with it and the window will go down but it wont go up, I had to push the window up manually until it was almost close but there is still a small open space where the cold wind gets in, you hear the whistling in the highway.
I am trying to make time to get it fixed, I don't trust in leaving the car alone at the local shop, this really being a pain. I suspect that the window regulator is the part that is causing all of this, I'll find out once I manage to get it to the shop.

Finally got around to go to the garage, it was not the window regulator, it's the main control switch that's damaged, somehow if the main one is screwed the whole thing gets messed up. We got the window up and they told me to forget about it till the summer.
Window Track problems with First gen RL
Hi, I've had similar issues with my rear passenger side window coming off the track and won't go back up. Happened to me twice on the same window. The second time was about 14 months after the first repair and the local Acura Dealer which are a bunch of crooks wouldn't honor their own repair. They wanted to charge me another $400. I told them to hit the bricks and took it to another Acura dealer. Same price but repair has worked fine and has not broken in 3 years.
It wasn't the regulator though, it was the track itself which is quite a bit of fun if you have ever had the pleasure of trying to repair one. You need some special tools and 4 hands to get it to set up right. Good Luck!
